Privacy and ride requests
How the website’s ride request features handle the information you provide.
Information you submit
The ride request form asks for your name, email, phone number, travel dates and times, pickup and destination addresses, passenger and luggage counts, and optional flight or trip notes. We use this information to review and respond to your request and to arrange a ride if you agree to proceed.
Do not submit payment card details, identity documents or medical records. If you book for someone else, get permission to share their information.
Where requests go
Submitted requests are stored in a private WordPress inbox available to authorised administrators. An email notification alerts the configured booking team without including the full trip details. Relevant details may be shared with the driver or transportation provider involved in arranging your ride.
The hosting and email providers process information needed to operate those services. They may keep their own security logs and backups.
Retention and spam protection
The booking plugin schedules deletion of its request records after 90 days, subject to the website’s scheduled tasks running. Backups and any records held separately by the business or a transport provider may follow different retention periods.
To limit spam, the website stores a one-way keyed hash of the connecting IP address with a short-lived submission count. The form also uses a security token and a hidden spam-check field. Server or hosting logs may separately record IP addresses.
Cookies and analytics
The supplied theme and booking plugins do not load advertising trackers, analytics services or third-party fonts. WordPress uses cookies for administrators who sign in. Additional hosting or analytics tools may have their own data practices; any such additions should be described here before use.
